Fluff The Cat - The Mayor of Monmouth Street

He's just a cat, a 16-year-old black-and-white cow cat. But his role in his Brookline, Massachusetts neighborhood tells us a great deal about ourselves, our neighbors, and the idea of place. Cats, after all, are very much creatures of place. Everyone on Monmouth Street knows Fluff, but how many of us know our neighbors, other than as passing faces on the street?
