Phone Booth : All the photographs in this gallery were made using a Blackberry 2.5 mgp camera phone. When everyone has a camera, will there be any photographers?

Observations :

Steel Ghosts : At one time, the Bethlehem Steel works, in Bethlehem, PA, were the second largest in the U.S. and among the most and modern productive in the world. They employed thousands of skilled workers, producing the steel that built the George Washington and Golden Gate Bridges, the Bonneville, Grand Coulee, and Hoover Dams, and the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. But by 2001, Bethlehem was in bankruptcy, and today, all that's left of the the once gargantuan works has been turned into a casino. The photos you see here were shot in some of the deserted parts of the works in 2007, before they were torn down.

Abortion :

Alone Together - Riding the Boston T : The title says it all. Perhaps nowhere are we forced into such close proximity as we are in subways, and yet we seek out, and maintain, our private space. For a year I carried a camera during my daily commute on the Boston MBTA Green and Red lines and sought to capture isolation in the crowd.

Fluff The Cat - The Mayor of Monmouth Street : He's just a cat, a 16-year-old black-and-white cow cat. But his role in his Brookline, Massachusetts neighborhood tells us a great deal about ourselves, our neighbors, and the idea of place. Cats, after all, are very much creatures of place. Everyone on Monmouth Street knows Fluff, but how many of us know our neighbors, other than as passing faces on the street?
